Having Fun With Collages and Blue Skies~

I invite you to check out more 'Skywatch Friday' posts from around the world at:

http://skyley.blogspot.com/

Today's entries are a combination of my creative juices flowing when I was not feeling up to myself this past week. I took four images for each fun collage. You might see a Chipmunk and a Rabbit among flowers in one, another is the wee tiny Spring Beauty flower combined with soaring Turkey Vultures, and yet another with a Red-winged Blackbird flying toward you among some flowers, to name a few. The other images were taken one sunny early morning at the local water reservoir.

This is a very special weekend where I live, for Saturday shall be the Kentucky Derby and one day I shall get to attend, but for this year, another one to pass without me...it is a dream that I have carried for so many years and I just cannot seem to get it to happen...keep on with your dreams, for they do come true~

  3. Your collages are wonderful, but that gorgeous yellow building (a Victorian house?) caught my eye in the thumbnail photo and didn't disappoint me here. It's lovely.
I'm sorry you're not attending the Derby, and I hope you get to go some day. It must be amazing to be there in person!

  10. Beautiful images, Mary! I used to live not far from Pimlico yet never had a hankering to to go the Preakness races. The Kentucky Derby would probably be fun to go to - once. :)

  13. Thank you all so much. The collages, there are many more to share on here later, I was kind of bored with myself and that sometimes brings out the artistic side;) The building in the images for this series is one of two buildings that sits on the property of the Louisville Water Company. The building is very beautiful and I have admired this structure for a very long time and was so pleased to get some good images to share~

  16. I'm here, Mary, and no problem accessing the site. Who know why these things happen.

I really like what you've done with the photos, all of them, and am especially fond of the finger-like projections of the blackbird flying vertically. Very nice and always pleased to see those "creative juices" flowing.

Have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend.
