Soaken Me, Tom Turkeys, All On the Prowl~

We have had soaking, windy, slashing rains yesterday and through the evening hours last night. Yesterday I drove to visit our middle daughter Brittany and our 3 year old grandson Braden which is a nine mile drive from Tingsgrove. I love the drive because it takes me through good horse country, and lots of photo opportunities most of the time... Yesterday I was on the prowl for prowling Tom Turkeys. One ran across the road in front of me and then zigzagged back across much to my car brakes horror on a wet road, but all went fine. No photographs taken en route, but then on my return home later, I came upon two little groups and the first set that I will share in this post was taken between two fence boards and I had no umbrella and neither did the Tom Turkeys. I was amazed that I got any good captures for the rain was, as you can see coming at an angle and almost like a sheet between me and the lovely wet and Wild Turkeys~

  1. The fence boards looked blue on edges once loaded up, yet I promise I never tampered with the saturation of these images which will sometimes make blue hues appear~

  3. Turkeys, they are wonderful. I hope they don't get killed for food, there's no need.

  4. It seems strange from over here that you have truly wild Turkeys but I know you do. I also know thay are pretty hard to get near to so good on you Mary for getting those photographs. Sounds like you have some UK weather over there - stay dry.
