Redbud Blossoms and the Moon~

I invite you to check out more 'Skywatch Friday' posts from around the world at:

http://skyley.blogspot.com/

Our area is filled with the beauty of the Redbud Tree blossoms this time of year and I always look forward to seeing them.  Afterwards come the lovely heart shaped leaves.  Also when the Redbud Trees are blooming, that means it is time to go hunting for Morel Mushrooms, which I just did and as usual, I found none.   When my friend Teressa hunts for them, she brings them home.  I love the flavor of these delicate mushrooms, ever since she first introduced me to them a few years ago and I guess I may just have to hunt for a package of the dried variety~

Sorry i have not been around much lately. We were away for almost two weeks and what with all the organising and packing where he mainly just gets in the way, it has not been a very easy time. We are off again at easter and will be away at least until mid May. Somehow it is easier to get along when we are travelling and he has new things to think about. His memory is degenerating at some speed and it is so sad to see him stand in front of the open fridge when I ask him to bring some oranges from outside. Long winded explanation why sometimes I cannot gather my thoughts enough to write comments of sweetness and light.
