Eastern Bluebirds and Some Spring Beauties~

We here in the Kentuckiana area have been having so much rain, soggy and wind conditions taking down trees. Flooding is in the areas all along the Ohio River, which runs about 10 miles from where we live. We are on high ground anyway, but our creek has been looking like a large lake in the past 48 hours. We lost power for a bit as well and still have no phone service, and yet we feel fortunate and blessed compared to so many without.

Easter Sunday was full of the same weather conditions, yet on my way to church service, I decided to check on the Eastern Bluebirds that I saw two weeks ago and I could only see the female and collected a few images before I had to be on my way and once again the rains came. The collage images include many favorite spring blossoms from Bleeding Hearts, to Wisteria, Hyacinth, Forget-Me-Not's, Columbine etcetera. One collage has images of my special spring time treat Morels, a non-eatable fungi and a huge poison ivy vine, while yet another is all of Bald Cypress~
