I'm Walking on Sunshine & Don't Give Me That Look~

As many of you know, it sometimes happens that the only opportunity that you may have to get the great images, is to take them as they come, or lose the chance.  The first time that I saw this young hawk, it was in the same place, same wire, hunting days before these were shot. The wind was cold and blowing hard at times, but my determination to get some descent images paid off fairly well. True, while it would have been awesome to view this bird in a nice back drop, this was what I had and this is what I share...tree, post, wire, still the beauty of this young one prevails~

  2. That first picture just made me laugh out loud when I looked at your title Mary. That hawk must really be humming that song as it walks along the wire.

  3. Thank you Bob, I was going to have 3 series and then used the one on fb and then my other entry went missing, so I came up with this combination.

Thank you Phil, is that not the cutest image...I wish it had taken a little sharper, but it did not, and that is fine. The young one had been perched and decided to come a bit closer to me and when it did, it took this sweet little leap and I was so happy just to capture it~
