Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Blue Skies and One Preening Robin~

Be sure to check out more 'Skywatch Friday' posts from around the world at: http://skyley.blogspot.com/

This weeks SkyWatch Friday share is just after sunrise near the grove.  My husby wishes that we had more of the old red leaf colouration along the grove, for it always presents a nice "pop" in the otherwise dreary winter landscape.  The Robin was perched in Dogwood tree which already has the lovely buds that will bring forth new growth soon for our spring, which I am really, really looking forward to.  It was just preening away, and di not mind at all that I was clicking away~

  3. Lovely shots of the robin, Mary. I haven't seen any yet this year. The minute I do I'll know spring is really, REALLY on its way. :)

  9. It always amuses me Mary when you have red "robins" that look like our black Blackbirds and we have "robins" that look like robins. Oh well it's just a name isn't it, the main thing being that we all appreciate our birds wherever they are?
