Another Red Headed Visitor ~

Hoping that those of you whom view my blog from areas that are ravaged by the huge winter storm are staying safe and warm and all tucked in, at least with some good homemade hot cocoa, with a splash of vanilla, of course. The storm ran just to the north of us, but we have had some pretty strong winds producing anywhere from 30 to 45 mph gusts, and that is strong.
I also am lifting up those of you whom have family, or friends, are whom live in Egypt, that peace shall come to those people. My great-grandfather Dr. Joseph Morton Howell, Atty., was the first United States Ambassador to Egypt, during President Warren G. Hardings administration.  My father lived with his grandparents and grew up in both Cairo and Alexandria during the years 1923-1927. Thus said, I have always had a soft spot in my heart for that country.
Yesterday the juvenile Red-bellied Woodpeckers and today not one but three Pileated Woodpeckers. The top three images are of one and then two images of the second Pileated, and I could not get any clear images through all of the trees to capture the third, yet I promise it was there ;) The last one flying, well, your guess is as good as mine...maybe it is the third one after all~
