Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Expelling a Casting ~

Hawks among other birds produce castings, which are small formed pellets of undigested material.  This can include fine bones, fur and feathers from the foods they have eaten.  Regurgitation and or, expelling of these castings is essential for good health as well as survival.  It not only clears the crop, but also cleans the bacteria from the walls of the crop~
