Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.

Say... Birdseed~

For nine years I was the Administrative Assistant, Bookkeeper, and yearbook photographer for an academy I also happened to be co-founder of.  Of course when you take a child's photograph, you must always use the words...say cheese, or pizza, or something silly to make them smile a bit.  When I was taking the images of these beautiful non-breeding female American Goldfinches the other day, I found myself smiling and thinking that the birdseed that I had just placed in the feeders was certainly doing the trick to get them to pose.  Then...I could not make up my mind which images of the over 100 I took to use, so I came up with four collages with twenty of my favorites...enjoy~
