Cedar Waxwings~Nature's Own Watercolour~

Love these birds, and these images gave me a feel of nature's own watercolours.  The Cedar Waxwings just seemed to melt into their backdrop of autumn colourations.  They had been busy eating on Crab-apples and Honeysuckle berries and were taking a break.  More images to come in later postings~

  1. Beautiful, artistic captures! Cedar waxwings came to my area for the first time last winter to eat desert mistletoe. I'll be watching for them again.

  4. Oh fantastic, you got them too ;-) I can make a deal, I send you one bohemian and you send me a cedar ;-) I've never seen the cedar and it looks as beautiful as the bohemian... I definitively love these birds! You got beautiful shots Mary!
