Two Year Round Visitors~

Nuthatches and Chickadees are always a welcome guest at one of our many feeders.  It impresses me when people do the many bird counts, for I would have no idea how many different visitors we have daily.  I missed a great opportunity the other day when a very young Nuthatch had come to a feeder and I all but reached out and touched it, for I expect it had been born near by and was already use to my presence.  No camera in hand, it was left sitting on a bench whicle I refilled the seed~

  1. Two of my favourite year-round visitors, too, although I have a red-breasted nuthatch in my yard. Love your photos of them. You are inspiring me to go out and capture my chickadees and nuthatches with my camera! :)

  3. Hi Mary, When in Canada I never did get to see White-breasted Nuthatch, only Red-breasted so it's a treat to see your photos. And that Chickadee looks so much like my blog header.
