Their Colouration Was Superb~

Some whom have known me longer may know that I rode for Indian Hills Riding Academy way back when;). Others may know we got into the "Adopt a Wild Horse Program" back in late 80's, early 90's, but never went through, as we just were torn about bringing them from their wild state. This grouping of Wild Horses and Buffalo were photographed in the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, in Medora, North Dakota. These roans were what were the most amazing, because their colourations was far superb to some of those purebred roans we often see, particularly in the Tennessee Walking breed. Buffalo also roam in many protected National and State parks out west.  I loved this experience ever so much~
