Red-tailed Hawk Soaring Just For Me;)~

We had stopped for lunch at a sidewalk cafe in Bismarck, North Dakota when I spotted a Red-tailed Hawk atop a utility pole.  I crept along side the end of the building and kept clicking off images as I got closer to it.  Those images, every single one turned out terrible, though I am uncertain exactly why.  That was the sour note of the afternoon. The sweet note was that while I was taking those images, right above me the mate began to soar and they turned out quite remarkable I think.   There will be a couple of others posted later, for reasons that I shall explain then~
