Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

Lakefront Sunrise~

Be sure to check out more 'Skywatch Friday' posts from around the world at: http://skyley.blogspot.com/

Driving to my special place for early morning walks, I came upon this most glorious sunrise and had to work at getting a place to capture it without getting tons of utility wires in the mix. I felt bad because the beauty of this sky was so intense and by the time I could locate a reasonable place to stop, much of the colours had already dissipated~

  6. I understand about the lost opportunity - no wonder professional photographers spend so much time and money on their craft. It's hard work! I think what you posted is lovely and I'm sure you had a special morning observing it.

  9. These photos are lovely, and I especially love the ones with the reflections.

I have the same problem with utility wires getting in the way, which is why I had to scamper up the road in the middle of making breakfast to get my Skywatch photos this time!
