Peacock Adorns Fence in Horse Country~

I had been taking a drive out in horse country and I was actually looking for a pair of Red-Tailed Hawks that I have viewed near here before. The most amusing thing happened in that a Peacock was resting upon one of the fence rails that adorn many of the Kentucky horse pastures. It was really pretty far away from any barns, or any other buildings and was just hanging about on the fence row, and seemed to enjoy posing for me, as well as having some company to admire it for a bit~

  2. Such grandeur, in the middle of the country!
A friend of mine used to keep horses and peacocks.
These birds are quite loud, I have been told.

  3. We used to have peacocks when we lived in the country in Winthrop, WA. They were fun but quite the crazy and noisy bird. But their behaviours were fun to explore.
