Soggy Titmouse~

This little Titmouse had just taken a dunk in our birdbath when I spotted it drying itself off.  We also have a  couple of areas along our creek that in 30 years have never completely dried up even with severe droughts.  Birds gather daily to bath there as well~

  2. Poor little mite looks wet through but birds dry out so very quickly you must have been on the ball to capture those photos so quickly Mary.

  3. Nothing like a good bath to cool down on a hot day. The wet feathers do make your titmouse look a little bedraggled.

Interesting story about your bluejay. The hawks need to eat too but still its only natural to root for the prey.
