Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

The Last Time Adults Landed on Nest~

This is the third day since either of the adults have actually landed on the nest. They deliver the food to the edge of nest and then leave promptly. The past two days, they have offered the chick a couple of things that were obviously still partially alive so that the chick could finish off the prey, as a way of learning what shall come very soon. These images and a few more for later were taken on the 28th of the hen with the young one. The young one seemed intimidated by the hen on this occasion and was more willing to be itself, once she left. The same story holds true as the young one finishes it's meal, it then preens for several long minutes and then it stretches it's wings and jumps up and down with great enthusiasm~
