I Need Your Help With an ID~

I took only 2 images of this beauty before it slipped too far away.  It was flying under the hawk nest tree near some brush in the middle of the day.  I am thinking it is more of a Moth type, than a Butterfly, but could not get a good look at it's Antenna.  I viewed a site with lots of identifications, but you must open each name individually and it was taking FOREVER...~

  1. I think what you have here is a Large Wood Nymph. Take a look here http://www.enature.com/flashcard/show_flash_card.asp?recordNumber=BU0010 to see if you agree.

  2. Coy was absolutely correct, it is indeed a Large Common Wood Nymph Butterfly. Thanks Coy, appreciate you helping me out!
