Black Vultures, beauty among even the most unattractive of Birds~

There is something of beauty in all of nature, sometimes, as in human form, we simply must look deeper to find it.  I try to find beauty in all of nature, even the one thing that gives me the creeps...spiders, but that is for another day.  This entry is for the American Black Vulture.  This big guy was perched upon a road kill of bunny rabbit, and when I stopped to capture these images, he flew upon the fence and seemed to be posing for me.  Then he let out this funny ack sound and off he flew...oh my, maybe it was I who was the scary one~

  1. You are right Mary. I think Black Vultures are one the most beautiful birds in flight, so slow but in control, that great big "V" shape of the wings, unmistakeable.
