Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.

Spring has arrived when the Finches colourations change into their glorious summer colours~

Spring has arrived when the Finches colourations change into their glorious summer colours~  This was such a lovely shade of magenta on House Finch ( five top images) as well as lovely scarlet hues of the the Purple Finch ( lower three images). Fun fact found...A group of finches has many collective nouns, including a "charm", "company", and "trembling" of finches.

  1. Your finches seem a lot more vivid than mine. I only had one pair of House Finches hanging around this year. I used to have several. I get a lot of eye problems with my House Finches. Your photos of them are great!

  2. With the summer arriving I guess you will get plenty of these nice shots. These are pure marvel. I really love the tone behind the bird and the background is superb!
