The colouration of these birds is some of the most attractive of our local birds~

I almost forgot about these, and did not want to miss sharing them.  The last snow and melt that we had left us with some nice moist ground, which was perfect for the birds that seek out bugs and grubs and such.  They also took in a bit of seed and cracked corn which I never knew they did before.  Our garden visitors wasted no time in checking out the lines along our paving blocks in the garden.  The colouration of these birds is some of the most attractive of our local birds~

  2. Beautiful images. I have only just found your blog and your images are lovely. I noticed the images of your Lilies, I have a few Lilies in my garden and today I planted 12 more Lily bulbs, various shades of red, although some will probably be dark pink than red.
