Oh what cute little visitors these American Tree Sparrows are. The way they each react when they hear the sound of my camera clicking, and their sweet little faces, they most certainly are quite the entertainers and what with their whimsical expressions, most certainly bring a giggle~

  1. They certainly are a delight. Sparrows in general are such entertaingly cheeky birds.

Mary dear, before the sixth year of drought bit last year, I had 150 rose bushes. I lost 27. This is the first time since that I have had a decent flush flowering. At dawn my granddaughter had raided the rose garden with a large bucket to decorate their house for mother's return fron Japan. When I went out later I could have picked a few more bucket fulls. Wish I could send you a bucket full too.

  3. I love bird photos of them living in their winter wonderlands. The trees are actually leafing out today. Spring is a full month early here in WA state.
