It is not so easy for me to photograph these little chaps without having a smile on my face~

More of one of our favorite visitors, the Dark-eyed Juncos. It is not so easy for me to photograph these little chaps without having a smile on my face. It is also a wee bit difficult to get a nice image with their dark faces and also be able to view their beautiful dark eyes. In a couple of these selections, I did my best though to do just that~

  2. What beautiful pictures of these lovely birds. They have not showed up in my yard as we have too much snow on the ground. Thanks for sharing these lovely pictures with us.

Do you use a blind or take pictures from your house?

  4. its wonderful that you captured the female and male together. I am an artist who works from my own adventures of birding. I find going out looking for and photographing birds is ultimate pleasure.

  5. Well Mary, they are wonderful shots. Not so easy to take pictures of this kind of bird because of its colors, I mean black and white. TO have a good contrast is not that easy!!! But you did it very well and I love them all!
