Where do they huddle to gather as the evening approaches~

They look like little innocents as they sit in the chill of the cold air and fluff themselves to bring further warmth to their chilled bodies. yet they manage to fare better than one would think.  These littlest of songbirds the Wrens, Chickadees, and the likes of the Dark -eyed Juncos, their feet so tiny and yet they can withstand the brutal cold.  Where do they huddle to gather as the evening approaches...  Hoping they have enough fuel, nourishment to place them into another dawn of the same.  We are fortunate however, to have risen above freezing after 12 long days of below freezing temperatures~

  1. It is truly amazing how resiliant these little guys can be in such cold weather. What gets me is their feet do so well in icy conditions. They are awesome.
