Jumping Lizards, you scared me...~

Carolina Wren was too busy at first to notice me taking photographs as it was checking out the scene for some grub treats.  I had taken a few shots, when all of a sudden, it just seemed to spring up, as if it had finally taken notice of me.  It was one of those too CUTE moments with nature~

    The one of him hopping is a genuinely great photograph. It's hard enough to take pictures of small, active subjects in the first place - catching him in focus like that is terrific.

    Wrens are so much fun to follow. They zig and zag and dart around. They always seem like they know exactly what they want to do with each moment.
