Cherish is my favorite word, and I cherish the ability of turning the routine into a beautiful moment.
Nature creates in me, a spiritual and meditative time to bring peace, harmony and balance, into an otherwise ordinary day~

A male Mourning Dove carries a sprig to it's mate~

A male Mourning Dove carries a sprig to it's mate, who is busy creating a nest. It seems to be a late summer nest this time. Nests are created entirely by the female, as the male brings her the materials to form it with. Though the nest of Mourning Doves seems sparse, they are quite sturdy enough to last the full 30 days needed. Mourning Doves mate for life, however if something should happen to one, in time the remaining dove will choose another mate~
